1138B Reveal

After building 3 different types of robots this season we decided to make the most efficient robot that came to mind. Not only is a very simple robot, but it has a lot of hiding features that cannot be seen just by looking at the robot. Sadly you'll have to see those features in the Science Division at worlds.

Our robot: Hobbes 3.0 R.F.T.A.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfw5G...e_gdata_player

Its sole focus is the interaction zone, as we knew that there are already a lot of fast isolation zone robots. Though this robot focuses on interaction, its probably one of the fastest robots at intaking, lifting and outtaking.

Lift: 2 393 (HT) 5:1 (6 bar)
Intake: (Your going to tell me why?), but 2 393 (HS) 1:1 12t sprocket. Key feature is the no pop out rollers for smooth collection and descoring.
Driver: 6 269 1:1 (pushes approx 45 lbs before stalling, Can push wallbots with ease)

By the way R.F.T.A. stands for Rise from the Ashes. Come to our pit at worlds as you will be well come to take a look and scout our robot. Good luck and see you tomorrow.

Can descore all orientations
Pick up all orientations
All goals
Holds 5 tubes.

Sorry for no pictures

You have two 393s on the intake because they are internally geared for speed...

Yes and we wanted, faster collection and outake. remeber we have 12t sprockets, so its going to be slow if its 100rpm. Its the perfect speed for outaking.
