While transmissions are cool in VEX, they take time to build and perfect. Odds are we will be going with some kind of mecanum drive base this year since that's our team's thing. By deciding to not focus on something like a shifting transmission, we can spend more time on our game piece mechanisms and on autonomous programming. It's all about design trade-off's.
