Can we make our own extension wires, from a supplier, or do we have to use several VEX wires to reach were we need to?

For use in the VEX Robotics Competition please read page 19 of the Game Manual.

For non-competition use, you should be able to make/ modify your own extension cables; however, its your responsibility if you inflict damage on your VEX Hardware.
If you are having issues reaching between Motors and Microcontroller, I suggest you to purchase the 36" extension cable.
