VEX in the South East

Hi everyone,

FRC team 4209, TigerBytes are interested in joining the VEX community for the next season. We were wondering if there are any VEX teams currently in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama (maybe even Georgia and Florida) that would be interested in attending a regional in Baton Rouge hosted by us. I'm sure some teams from Texas would be interested in attending, we're just trying to spread robotics throughout our state and others where there isn't a lot of established teams already. Also, if there are any teams that would like to work with us, we're open to any ideas and anything helpful!!

We're also willing to help any schools or teams that would like to get started in VEX as well.

We are in Florida and Compete in College, we would have to see if we could go but if your interested in hosting a college portion that would be awesome!

That would be great!! Some of the mentors at LSU are thinking about starting a college VEX team as well. If everything goes as planned, we'll try to have a college scrimmage or something.

I think we would love to be apart of that. Message me with the information. We would also like to start getting VEX some attention in Louisiana as well which is why we are interested in hosting a VEX regional in Baton Rouge. We just want to see if there any teams in the area that have VEX teams already or would like to start ones.
