Autodesk problems

I have downloaded Autodesk Inventor Professional 2012 however when i want to run the program, it asks me this:

"Your application was not able to obtain a license because the FLEXnet license server manager could not determine where to find the licensing data it needs. Please choose one of the following:

~Specify the License Server System

~Specify the License File"

Im not sure what to do, the only reason i did all this is because i want a program that allows me to design a 3D model of the robot i want to build. If you have any suggestions on what to use or do please reply. I also tried Autodesk Inventor 2011 version but i couldn't download the virtual vex parts.
