So reading over the skills manual I came across

<RSC3> In a Robot Skills Match, all Goals, Zones, Parking Tiles, and Starting Bars are considered to
be the same color for purposes of any rules or definitions.
    a. Robots may Stack Cones on any color of Goal for points.
    b. Robots may Score Goals in any color of Zone for points.
    c. Robots may Park on any color of Parking Tile for points

Does this mean that there can only be one mobile goal in only one 20 point zone or does it mean that there can be a mobile goal in both 20 point zones.

There can be 1 mobile goal in each alliances zone, if there are more then one in an alliances zone the one with the highest amount of cones counts for 20 pts while the other doesnt count for anything.

  3. Ok thanks

  4. Actually what they told me was that the one with the highest stack stays in the 20 point zone and the other will count in the 10 point zone

  5. @iperez Actually what they told me was that the one with the highest stack stays in the 20 point zone and the other will count in the 10 point zone

That's only if you put multiple mobile goal into the same 20 point zone

To clarify further, if there are multiple mobile goals in the same 20 point zone, the one with the most cones counts in the 20 point zone, and any others count in the highest other zone they are touching.

(For example, if the one with fewer cones is touching the 10 point zone, it counts for the 10 point zone, while if the one with fewer cones is touching only the 20 point zone, it counts as if it were out in the middle of the field.)

This comes from this Q&A answer.

Yes, there can be a mobile goal in both 20 point zones, according to this Q&A thread (emphasis mine):

Since there are two 20 Point Zones available for scoring in the Robot Skills Challenge, one Mobile Goal in each Zone would receive 20 points, for a total of 40 points.
