It isn’t a passive, its an active claw with a roof.
The thing most surprising about it is that its a 180 degree rotating chainbar going that fast Didn’t think it was possible.
speed hax in real life
yeah, i was talking with my team and came up with that it’s some sort of hybrid that allows it secure it quickly passively but still have a motor driven component to clamp and drop with
What is there to criticize?
The speed race for match loads in NbN was ultimately pointless. It doesn’t really matter if you can do 1 CPS or 0.5 CPS, it is mostly how fast you clear the field (and what proportion of field cones you score),at least at the end of the season. This of course assumes that one cannot be foiled by defense if they take too long on match loads, which is definitely possible.
I partially agree, but this game is about how fast you can stack. CPS is just another way of measuring how fast you can stack.
How fast you stack match loads is not a great metric of how fast you can stack from the field, though.
remember that guy in nbn
“10 Bps”?
anyone?
It’s not a bad metric for field speed, if you’re fast on match loads you can’t be too slow on the field.
P.S The member team list has been updated and is in the video description
It’s absolutely not bad; there is some relationship. However, it is a different kind of environment.
I am with @Aponthis on this one, If you take a look at nothing but net pretty much every team had the match loads down for worlds because it wasnt a hard task but a required one, however the robots that won worlds were built to clear the field as fast as possible knowing that they are guaranteed the match loads for the end. When you can clear the field at a fast rate then you have all the time in the world to do the match loader. While this is very impressive it is somewhat not needed to go this fast.
l agree with this, however I don’t think the field will be cleared as fast as NBN was, so I think that being able to fit in the match loads at the last couple seconds could be useful. Not necessary, just useful.
Doing matchloads faster gives you more time to field
My only question is why the stacking is being done from a chair? It seems like that would significantly increase stacking speed, both because the chain bar has less distance to travel and because the chair is a more stable surface than the autoloader, allowing you to slam down much harder onto it.
What if you do the field first, like in NbN? That is going to be the strategy by Worlds – I guarantee it.

Not everyone is as rich as rr… Some of us peasants don’t have actual fields. Though you’re probably right that the chair may have brought the speed up slightly.
Fair enough, but the chair does look more like 20 inches o.O
I used to use a stack of books!
