[127] Benji Miller Career Highlights

Hey all,

I have found the time over the start of this winter break to make a nice video compiling some of my best moments throughout my time in VEX. I would like to thank each and every one of you who interacted with me in any way or helped to make events happen. You made me a better person and competitor, not to mention the fun we had along the way.

Without further ado…

That ITZ bot was great, seeing a full sized DR4B bot bolt across the field before any other team even started their autonomous is amazing.

It wasn’t practical for the rest of the season when stacking speed became super important, but that robot was my favorite to compete with - ever! And it probably shows in the video. The proudest I was of a robot, though, was the very last one, the Worlds bot for ITZ. Much more complicated and yet it worked very well and very consistently.

awww… we are not in the video… :stuck_out_tongue:

but seriously… one less team in vex that plays the game in the right way (i.e. old-fashioned, non-whining, strategic, mechanical ingenuity, etc).

it was fun playing against you. i love the competitiveness that you brought into the game, and yet we are friends (regardless of results) once the match is over. True display of sportsmanship.

you have certainly made vex a better place.

and yes - you have just made me wanna get my guys to do a compilation video as well (from clean sweep till now :p).

PS… still hope to see you and justin around for worlds 2019.

Aw, that makes me sad. :frowning: I think we only had the one match in Starstruck, in which my partner was dead in the water and yours would return whatever we threw while you were free to do nothing but block 80% of it. (Ideal strategy on your part for that match, but nothing we could have done and certainly nothing highlight-worthy for us.)

That’s extremely high praise coming from you, I appreciate it more than you could know.

PLEASE DO. So much good material to work with.

You’ll probably see Justin, he always finds a way. I hadn’t given it any thought myself, but I don’t think I will be there. :frowning:
