When I try to use pi in my program, I’m offered 2 options for each value M_1_PI, M_2_SQRTPI, etc.

I can’t find anything different between the two options, is there any difference?

thanks!

I think I might be misunderstanding your question, but this might help: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/c-runtime-library/math-constants?view=vs-2019. It is a list of the values of constants including M_1_PI and M_2_SQRTPI, which are different.

no, I know that, but the value M_1_PI shows up twice in the autocomplete

No matter what shows up in the autocomplete, M_1_PI will aways have the value of 1/pi.

1 over pi or normal pi?

If you look at the link above, you will see that M_1_PI is 1/pi, and M_PI is normal, 3.14, pi.
