2009 Championship @ Dallas Video

I am looking for a video of a specific match: Qualifying #128 (Science). My team, 2211 from Puerto Rico with alliance Team 303a Alpha Panthers (Bridgewater-Raritan High School, Bridgewater, NJ) faced Team 929 Hereford High School, Parkton, MD USA and Team 3103 The Cheshunt Stags
Cheshunt Technology School, Cheshunt, UK.
I would really appreciate anyone with a video of this match, or with a suggestion on how to find one, to contact me.

Keep and eye on this website. More than likely the VEX World Webcast will be up there at some point. Be patient though it takes time to edit the video to cut out downtime.

Specifically, watch this page; the webcast will most likely be uploaded there.

Our team has already contacted those in charge at NASA to see when we can come up to edit the video. Depending on how much NASA has on its plate, I’ll predict that the videos from both World Championships and Championship of the Americas will be up some time before mid-June.

I’ve just received word that the wmv recording from Dallas was damaged due to poor poor connectivity, so any uploads will likely be delayed.

I am looking for a video of Karthik’s speech in the elimination rounds. It was the speech about the fear.

If anyone has one in decent quality or knows where I can find one (I’ll even just accept the audio), please let me know.

Thanks

Seriously though, I heard these commercials last May during the NBA playoffs and fell in love with them. They really struck a chord with me, reminding me of all the emotions I feel when I’m competing in any venue at the highest level.

I’ve used this theme in a few speeches this year at competitive robotics competitions. Judging by the response, the feelings described are shared by many.

Any further updates on the status of these webcasts?

I talked to Jack Biesiadecki, the NASA Ames official in charge of the videos, and he seemed hopeful about getting both of them (Omaha and Dallas) up sometime soon. He said he would let me know if he needed help with splicing them or otherwise.

I’ll keep posting updates here as they become available.
