VEX Robotics and the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation are offering Event Partners two incredible options to visit Hawaii, attend the 2014 Event Partner Summit, and volunteer during the 2014 International VEX Robotics Summer Games.
Option 1: Attend the Event Partner Summit
Event Partners choosing this option will arrive in Honolulu on Tuesday, July 8th in time for an evening opening reception and stay through 2:30 PM on Thursday, July 10th. You will receive two nights of hotel accommodations and meals starting on Tuesday, July 8th in order to attend the third annual VRC Event Partner (EP) Summit.
Attendees will be responsible for their own travel to and from Honolulu.
Option 2: Attend Event Partner Summit & Volunteer
Event Partners choosing this option will arrive in Honolulu on Tuesday, July 8th in time for an evening opening reception and stay through the evening of Saturday, July 12th in order to attend the EP Summit and volunteer on Thursday afternoon, Friday, and Saturday during the 2014 International VEX Robotics Summer Games. You will receive five nights of hotel accommodations and meals starting on Tuesday, July 8th. Attendees will be responsible for their own travel to and from Honolulu.
In order to be eligible for either Event Partner Summit option, you must have hosted a VEX Robotics tournament during the previous competition year, have a tournament listed on RobotEvents.com for the 2014-2015 competition season, or are actively working with one of the REC Foundation’s Regional Support Managers to develop a tournament for the 2014-2015 competition season.
While VEX Robotics and the REC Foundation would like to open this opportunity to as many Event Partners as possible, space is limited. In order to properly prepare for the summit, Event Partners need to complete the interest form by June 1, 2014 but priority will be given to Event Partners who complete the interest form by May 15, 2014.

Attendance confirmation emails will be sent to participants starting on Friday, May 16, 2014 and will continue to be sent out until all spaces are filled.
If your Event Partner Summit application is approved, you will receive a confirmation by email and you will have 7 days to respond with your confirmed flight information. Hotel rooms will only be reserved for those individuals who submit confirmed flight information.
Important Information About the 2014 Event Partner Summit
The EP Summit will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center, 1801 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815.Hotel accommodations will be in the Ala Moana Hotel, 410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, Hawaii 96814. The hotel is located three blocks from the Hawaii Convention Center. Wednesday and Thursday’s meetings and training sessions will focus on tournament best practices, judging essentials, Tournament Manager operations, publicity, fundraising and more.
