VRC World Championship is only 41 days away!
The excitement and fun of the 2014 VRC World Championship is only 41 days away. Teams that still want to take advantage of incredible hotel deals and Anaheim attraction rates, should make their travel arrangements soon. Don’t Forget to Pay Your Team’s Registration Fees
Teams are responsible for ensuring that their World Championship registration fee is paid. Teams with unpaid registrations will be removed from the World Championship roster. Please remember that World Championship registration fees are due this week for teams that have completed registration.

Awards Pre-Submission and Interview information
All Teams registered for World Championship should visit http://cts.vresp.com/c/?RECFoundation/48ba13ed76/TEST/07407473d1 to submit entries for the Teacher of the Year Award and Mentor of the Year Award. VRC Teams should submit entries for the Community Award, Teamwork Award, Educate Award, Inspire Award, and Innovate Award. In order for VRC teams to be considered for the Excellence Award and the Design Award, teams also need to visit this site and schedule an appointment for their Excellence and/or Design Award interview. In order for VEX IQ Challenge Teams to be considered for the STEM Research Project Award, teams must visit the site to sign-up for their interview. To be eligible for many of the awards mentioned above during World Championship, teams must submit their 500-word entries no later than April 1, 2014 at 11:59 pm CST.

**VRC World Championship Travel Information Is Available! **
If your team has not made travel arrangements for World Championship, then you will want to do so as soon as possible so that you can take advantage of the deals. Some of the hotels that are nearest to the convention center are filling up quickly.

Action Needed: Information Request From All Teams
We are making the final preparations for the 2014 VRC World Championship and to ensure that we are adequately prepared, we need every team to complete the team profile information. Please provide information about your team and your trip to Anaheim by logging into RobotEvents.com. Navigate to your ‘My Account’ page for the ‘Registered Events’ list. The World Championship event has a ‘TEAM INFO NEEDED!’ link next to it. Please click the link and fill out the information for each team attending the event.

Completion of these fields is mandatory, and the information collected will be used by the judges, registration staff, and others to prepare for the event. Teams that neglect to complete their information pages may not be eligible for all awards at the 2014 VEX Robotics World Championship.

Calling All Volunteers!
The 2014 World Championship cannot happen without your help. Volunteers can sign up using our registration system. The form http://cts.vresp.com/c/?RECFoundation/48ba13ed76/TEST/674b760411 is simple and easy to complete.

Volunteers will receive a free 2014 World Championship t-shirt and free lunch on the days they volunteer. Those who volunteer for three full days may be eligible to receive volunteer hotel rates. There are a limited number of discounted rooms for out-of-town volunteers.
