VEX Worlds 2017 Agenda!
With many state and regional championship events having taken place or coming up, these next few weeks are important ones as teams begin planning for the VEX Robotics World Championship! We wish you all an enjoyable time at these end-of-season events and look forward to welcoming 1,400 teams to Louisville, KY, in April. VEX Worlds Pre-Submitted Awards
VEX IQ Challenge and VEX Robotics Competition teams are encouraged to review pre-submitted award requirements for VEX Worlds and may visit the pre-submitted awards page at www.RobotEvents.com/VEXawards.
To clarify, VEX IQ Challenge teams have no specific requirement to sign up for Excellence, but should sign up for their STEM Research Project Presentation and Design Award. Students may also submit nominations for the STEM Hall of Fame Teacher of the Year and Mentor of the Year here as well. All submissions are due by March 20, 2017.
VEX Worlds Team Party!
The REC Foundation will offer a team party on Saturday, April 22, for VEX Robotics Competition and VEX U teams and a team party on Tuesday, April 25, for the VEX IQ Challenge teams following the conclusion of
their portion of VEX Worlds. The party will be held at Kentucky Kingdom, a stunning amusement park located just steps from the Kentucky Expo Center. For more information about the events and to

Interested in Online Fundraising?
Through a new REC Foundation partnership, Edco is offering a free webinar about online fundraising. VEX Worlds is quickly approaching and now is the perfect time to fundraise for it. Edco will teach attendees about fundraising best practices and explain how to get more parents and community members engaged so fundraising becomes easier year after year. Join us for a Girl Powered Social!
The REC Foundation & VEX Robotics, Inc. look forward to welcoming all of the young women participating in the VEX IQ Challenge, VEX Robotics Competition, and VEX U teams at the VEX Robotics World
Championship to join us for two special Girl Powered Socials. The events will include a special guest speaker and refreshments as we welcome our female competitors to the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, Ky. This will be held for VEX Robotics Competition and VEX U teams on Wednesday, April 19 and then again for VEX IQ Challenge teams on Sunday, April 23.
