How many teams actually have V5 systems for this season? I am wondering if it is even worth registering this year since I only have Cortex systems and if all of my competition has V5, I wonât stand a chance.
nearly all of the teams will have v5. your best bet is to reach out to local teams and see if anyone can lend you a set. or try to get some money to buy yourself a set.
I would still suggest registering. Yes it is getting harder to be a cortex team but you can still be competitive with cortex.
Pretty cool, but what odds would you give a 9â tall stack of these cubes standing? And stacking that high⌠reverse quadruple four bar ftw? (trademark: RQ4B)
Part of the game assessment will be picking a realistic height for each of the three stacks.
That would be insane. If any of those stacks stayed, the crowd would go absolutely inasane!
I searched the manual and it seems that there is no specific starting tile. Are you able to start anywhere?

You have to start touching the wall. The alliance tiles are just sort of there I think.
Thatâs actually terrible. The walls are constantly moved around from robots banging into them. Thatâll destroy precise autonomous aligning imo.
Yeah, I agree. I wish it was just within 1 tile of the wall instead of touching the wall.
Yeah that would be much better. Iâve never aligned with the walls because I donât trust them at all.

You should be able to realign the wall at the beginning of the match. Get it on the q and a when it opens.

No! I like that though when there is your team telling you what to do and then you add the adults in the stand it cam be distracting.
Ya know honestly people are talking about how terrible itâs going to be to reset this years field but to 100% honest I got so excited to not have to carry around all the field elements like I did last season since Iâm the guy with the truck (platforms, flags, net, etcâŚ) other than the 66 cubes which is less than the 80 cones star struck had. Theirs just less stuff to actually assemble
80 cones starstruck had 
I think the cubes will take up more space then the cones. The cones could stack into each other and conserve space, the cubes is like 33 square feet of cubage.
