VEX parts are in no way weather or water resistant. If they tried to release water resistant parts, availability would be approximately the availability of a stradivarius (just think v5 launch but everyone needs it for that season).
I admit it would be fun, but not in anyway logistically possible.
Battle Bots. Though the only problem with that is people would have to buy lots of metal beforehand.

Now let’s take a moment to comprehend the electronical aspect of a water game. Despite the hints that VEX has offered, any electronics associated with your robot would be fried upon any contact or interaction with the water. Also, the feat of containing any quantity of water in one of the current competition rings would be incredulous and presents an array of issues.
Why have solid games, liquid games, or gaseous games when you can have

The thing is that the water game “meme” predates you. It was an old joke in 2004 when I first started roboting. So, not so much your meme, then. This video explains everything for you.

To be fair though, Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up released in 1987. It is still heavily used today.

Last year’s world championship’s Parade of Nations. All of the facts about the countries had to do with water… SO that hints the possibility of a future Water Game
