According to sig registration requirements, sigs must be open for registration 16 weeks before the event opens. This has already happened for the mall of America signature event. Does anybody me know when the event will appear in robot events and will it immediately be open to registration or will there be a grace period?

According to the signature event rules, events this early can have a shorter release schedule. It will have to be on robot events by May 12. As far as I know, it will be immediately available for registration. Hope to see you there!

I can tell you as an EP, we are not yet able to post events for the new season just quite yet. VEX Support is just winding down from IQ Worlds this week. I’m sure they’ll enable the posting of new events to RobotEvents when they get back in office next week.

Due to an unforeseen RE holdup, we are pushing the posting deadline back 1 week to May 19. This will be reflected in the Library articles today.

Will mall of America immediately be open for registration or will there be a period where it is in robot events and not open for registration?

In this specific case there will be 1 week from posting to opening.
