Applications are now being accepted for the 2025-2026 Student Advisory Board (SAB). The SAB is open to high school students who would like to share their time and talents with the REC Foundation and provide their insights to our programs and future plans.

Cool, it’s time for my annual question on what great things the SAB accomplished last year.
Here is the update that @DanMantz gave last year, the advisory group did a lot of great things!
I was able to attend and converse with the Student Advisory Board on multiple occasions this year, discussing the GDC Processes, how we viewed the season/game over multiple points of the season, etc. We (GDC) provided the Advisory Board the opportunity to give us boundless feedback on how we operate, design games, communicate, etc. The conversations were always immensely productive, fun, and I always left with a lengthy list of notes for improvement &/or discussion.
I’ll let Carol &/or Dan expand on the exact details of what was discussed, implemented, etc,.
It’s always a pleasure to be included in these meetings, and I look forward to them every year. Carol & the entire RECF staff do an amazing job with this committee and I encourage any student interested to apply!
