2025-26 Online Competition Manuals

Like the past few years, I’ve created an HTML version of the Push Back game manual. It can be found here: V5RC Push Back Game Manual - VEX Robotics

(It should be noted that just like any other available resources, in the case of any discrepancies, the official PDF manual will always take precedence. )

I’m always open to feedback, so let me know if you find anything that looks broken, missing, or other ways to improve this page!

I’ll post an update to this thread when the VIQRC manual page is ready. That should hopefully be within the next couple of weeks.

The V1.0 Game Manual contains appx. 32,438 words.

Looks like we need approximately 32 gifs added to the HTML manual…

I love these “manuals”, they are so much easier to manage than the entire thing.

I would retitle Prefix section to be Change Log … the definition Prefix does not really fit.

I know this is for GDC for Game Manual change…

Aaron Boone? Middle name starts with an F but it is escaping me at the moment.

This is super useful, and I was just going to email GDC to ask about this for upcoming seasons!

This may be a bit of an edge case, but I would love to be able to link to a rule directly on the manual page. Either by putting an id on the rule title elements, or using some other mechanism. Previously, I have used the rules in the RobotEvents Q&A system for the purpose, but those aren’t active for this season (and the Cloudflare configuration prevents embedding it in an iframe :frowning:)

They are already ID’d by rule number, so to link to a rule you put a # and the rule number. For example, <R25> is at https://www.vexrobotics.com/push-back-manual#r25
