2nd Generation Vex IQ Sensors Not Working - red error message/glitching

My students are trying to do the Freeze Tag STEM Lab but none of 2nd Gen sensors are working. We have run updates, force updates and nothing is working. After running a program using the touch LED - it is showding a red box with an error message (really hard to read - this is what I could see)

AttributeError: no such attribute

The other sensors do not respond or the screen starts blinking and glitching. When trying to program the distance or color sensor. The screen shows NO Object Found and starts blinking.

Please Help!

In VexCode, go to Help/About and switch the slider there to C++, and see if that fixes the issue. This bit my kid earlier in the season, and it seems to be suddenly popping up for lots of folks in the last couple of days.
