3 Second Timeout on Robot Brain

What causes this (see pic)?

Hi HawaiiThad,

The three second timeout occurs when the Robot Brain detects that a program is stuck inside an infinite loop; this can occur in user programs created in ROBOTC or Modkit for VEX. Once the Robot Brain detects that it is stuck in an infinite loop, it stops the program as a safety measure.

To help debug this issue, it is helpful for us to see the program that was running on the Robot Brain at the time. If this occurred while running a user-created program in ROBOTC, please send a copy of your program to ROBOTC Technical Support at [email protected] to help resolve the error.

If this error occurred in a program from Modkit for VEX, please contact Modkit Technical Support at [email protected] for help in resolving the situation.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact VEX Technical Support at [email protected] or by calling +1-903-453-0802.
