Here is the link to a picture of my 3rd iteration of my nbn bot. Unfortunately, due to the lack of time, I wont be able to compile footage into a reveal video for this robot until after worlds. I thought I may as well post a picture here to see who can understand how it works. I won’t be bringing this robot to worlds but it was kinda a neat concept. I definitely say it was a cool experience learning about planetary, but overall, the system wasn’t all that effective.

Actually, that was a different robot had a 6 motor shifting drive. Kinda like the one Gael Force Robotics revealed but with only 6 motors shifting. It was more cleanly built and was much more accurate. Problem was that it’s intake had a lot to be desired and it could only physically hold 2 - 3 balls at a time. I actually believe that robot could have potentially score a much higher score with better programming and I’ll be taking that one to a skills event next weekend. At max speed I could finish on side’s preloads in 13 ish seconds.
Hey 3388T. 9409A here. congrats on worlds. Alberta was a good time. It’s unfortunate that our robot decided to break down on our final match with you guys for worlds qualification. Going to Vancouver though so not too mad.
Thanks. I liked the mere simplicity and effectiveness of your guys robot. Are you planning on sending 1 or2 if your teams to bcit. You should note that the reffs in BC are a little better informed of the actual rules. They will dq you for entering the climbing zone in the last 30 second s but you are allowed some contact (these were not always ruled correctly in alberta).
