How do 393 motors plug into the new V5 brain?
The brain has some legacy ports on the opposite side from the battery and download ports. If you plug a two to three wire extension cable into the motor, and then plug the other end into the legacy ports, the brain should recognize the motor.
And you probably know this, but 393 motors are not competition legal with v5 brains.
But if using V5 you are still limited to 8 motors of either type in total?
No, you can only use V5 motors in competition. The 393 motors will plug into the brain, but will receive sufficient power to run.
I thought that was the case. Just thought we are short some V5 motors (supply issue) so it might be handy.
