We 3D printed a piece for our robot (its an adapter for the worm gear so we can angle our puncher). I had always thought this would be allowed (since its identical to the vex piece and I thought I’ve seen other teams use it before), but I read on the inspection sheet that “ALL Robot components are (or are IDENTICAL to) OFFICIAL VEX Products as sold on VEXrobotics.com (No 3D
printed functional parts are allowed)”. Is our adapter, one that never touches a game object, illegal?
