4 motor program for 1 joystick

I need help programing a 4 motor drive program. I need to make all these motor run with only the left joystick.

You don’t have to write any code to do this – set up a 4-motor drivetrain and a controller in the configuration menu, and in the controller setup, click/tap the joysticks until you get the control scheme you want.

If you want to write your own code, which will give you a bit more control over how the robot behaves, the forum search term you’re looking for is “arcade drive”, or specifically “single-stick arcade drive”.


No, it’s just “arcade drive”. “Split arcade drive” is where one stick steers, and the other controls throttle. If you’re using the search bar, use “arcade drive” in quotes.
