4 Starter kits, keep parts separate?

Hello,
We’ve had 4 starter kits for two years. I haven’t been really strict on managing how kids share or use parts. Do people generally find it worth the time and effort making sure that each kit maintains its original parts? We also bought one Foundation Add-on pack, which was when the parts really started to get mixed around.

I seperate just by pieces… Connector pins together, beans together one each for 1 2 and 4 width… Etc… I have 26 kits with add ons and more…

I see. So I guess you have a bunch of small part trays/bins?
