4149G - Complete Part Breakdown (Spreadsheet)

Hi all,

One of our teams (4149G) is done for the year. The students thought it would be interesting to catalog each and every part of the robot for documentation. I’m sure there are some tiny errors, but in theory, this spreadsheet lists each and every part that was on our robot.

We included part names, quantity, and mass in grams, ounces, and lbs. We also made a small table to summarize the major categories of parts.

How close was the actual weight of the robot to the estimated weight?

We use a luggage scale to get approximations of our robot. The luggage scale gave us a weight of approximately 20.4 lbs while the spreadsheet gives us a total of 19.9

Also, just to be clear. The weights on the spreadsheet are not estimations or supposed weights from VEX. We actually measured everything with a lab scale that when in grams has precision to +/- 0.01 gram. So the spreadsheet values are quite accurate/precise.
