What y’all think about 44w drivetrains, our team wanted to use them but we realized better.
Ive used them for the past 2 years one on green cartridge one on blue cartidge. A thing to note is that we didnt screw joint so we had friction on the blue making us overheat during back to back matches. honestly good for new coders but 6 motor is more common.
I used 44W drivetrain during my first year in High Stakes. It is not that bad of an option for newer teams as building and coding 44W drive is really easy. For a more experienced team, I only see 44W drivetrain being used in this game when you need the extra motors to power other subsystems that need their own motors when 5.5W motors are not available. (think powering each side of side roller intakes)
Just note that using a 44W drivetrain will lead to really easy overheating and during matches you will be pushed around a lot.
Informative for me. noted it. Thanks Uzirocks
