Okay so this coming Saturday, our team is competing in a hyped-up competition. Our team is almost complete in design and programming. One part of our robot stands out from the rest; the pushy-shovey.
The push-shovey is made of 2 C channels connected to a curved sheet of aluminum. Our release mechanism is a small rubber band connected to a standoff. Because our design consists of a dump truck, this attachment will not only push stars under but act as a balance mechanism. Rubber bands are attached to the bottom to make it stable. We used hinges instead of other lock mechanisms because it was very easy to create. That’s our attachment and good luck this season!
