Just out of curiosity how have you done a 6 motor HS drive or just any 6 motor drive in the past?
Well if you chained the wheels together you could have one motor directly attached to each wheel and then have a third one in the middle of each side just attached to a sprocket.
Our team has 2 motors on each front wheel and 1 motor on each back wheel (nothing special about front & back – that’s where they fit). The 2 front motors are connected via gears (1:1 gear ratio).
