My team is using a 6 wheel 4 inch drive - was wondering if there are any benefits of it to 8 wheels, and if not, is it worth switching to 8?

Benifit of more wheels is bigger contact patch and therfor less sink meaning robot slides around more and puts ess strain on motors when accelerating up to speed. And no it is not wprth switching to 8wheels for a 4inch drive train. Makes sure your other sustems work well and prwctice driving. The difference isnt that big.

It depends on many factors like how many motors? What RPM? What size wheels?
