Does anyone on the forum know what 60x’s robot looks like? I saw it’s skills score on the fixed vexdb and was very impressed. How does a real robot even get 72 points in skills?

All I’m going to say is @SamBarbee is a very good driver. It’s not just the bot design that got them 72…
I’ve seen the design before, but I don’t think telling the design without Sam’s permission would be good

EDIT: Did I give away another leak? Anyway high scores like that only happen after hundreds/thousands of hours of practice. It’s not just the robot.

The robot is no scam and no joke a pushbot with a pneumatic compressor and pneumatic cannon. They slid me some leaks earlier today, no scam and no joke. It uses the compressor to compress all the elements to half of their size. Then, they use a forklift to load the cannon with all the compressed elements. No scam and no joke. It then angles out the cannon using 2 motors and fires all the elements into the far zone. Some pieces bounced back into the near zone which is why they didn’t get a perfect score. They then used the cannon to shoot the robot up and hang. No scam and no joke. If you PM me, I can ask all the members for permission to send you some CAD’s.
Ummm… pneumatics barely have the power to shoot one star from far to far and you are telling me they use pneumatics to shoot 18+ pounds of scoring objects to the far zone. Sorry if I have trouble believing “no scam and no joke.”

@ET phone home If someone needs to state “no scam and no joke” multiple times, then it is probably a scam and a joke. Just saying. I am not trying to trick anyone. Anyone who reads that can probably tell that it is a joke, given the content, repeated mantra, and general trend of answers on this thread. The real robot has all of those things, but all motorized instead of using pneumatics.
