6210x Quad Core 6th Gen Worlds Reveal

Specs: 6 motor high speed 5:1 lift
4 motor turbo on 4 inch wheel chassis
2 motor high speed 5:1 claw

The robot is capable of both grabbing and scoring up to 8 stars or a cube and 4 stars in a competition scenario (some of the teams that “can do this in their reveal” require the stars to be piled on top of one another in an impossible way) and it is incredibly fast due to everything being tuned for incredibly fast speeds.

The blocking featured in the autonomous portion of the reveal will also be possible in driver control for all sections of the fence.

Quad Core 6th gen? Did you replace your cortex with a Skylake i5 or i7? Lol

sssshhh. They aren’t supposed to know

Nice guys! the getting back up from any angle is cool/funny
I’m not exactly sure how your fence thing works, but it looks like it probably isn’t legal. Although, the again Karthik wouldn’t give a definite answer, so who knows. https://vexforum.com/t/wildstang-vex-robotics-competition-dec-4th-results/18083/1

Ya, all the rules and q&a’s I could find regarding this seemed very vague, so I guess we will find out how the refs rule it when we get there. All of Karthik’s vague replies seem to suggest to me that it is legal (it doesn’t touch more than one face and its not “latching” or “anchoring”, its more of a friction hold given the way it works), but we have other autonomous routines written in case the mechanism is an issue.

Oh, also, the wheels aren’t actually supposed to come off the ground. My teammate just liked that shot more than the others so he put it in the reveal ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, there’s no harm in making them make a decision. And not lifting the wheels up would make it a lot less obvious
