If you are using pneumatics for the intake 4-bar and also, it seems, the intake, how do you possibly have enough air for a full match? (About 20 cones stacked, and 5-10 moved to the stationary goal.) I got about 30 single-acting actuations last season with my two-piston claw, when pumped to 100 PSI. And yes, I did take care of all leaks.
We use about a third of a piston stroke each actuation of the 4 bar. The intake is passive going down on the cone and active releasing which saves a lot of air. We also use pressure regulators to conserve as much air as possible. We can do about 42 cones before it becomes inconsistent.
Okay. I had heard bad things about pressure regulators, but if they do help, then I can see how that would work. Best of luck!
