As a first year (and one member) team, I am very happy that I could qualify for worlds. Along with the help from 5327A and 5327B, we qualified through the California state championship. Now for the robot…
You should be fine if you tell people your skills score and because you have an efficiency style robot. You also have a plus because you are from California and they have the highest representation at worlds.
So you’re the one who won the States here in Cali?! Congrats, ESPECIALLY since this is your first year. It is now excruciatingly difficult to qualify for worlds in this state, and you made it. Many congrats, and as the guy above me said, you’re robot is efficiently built, with very little extra weight or bulk. That is the issue with the robots I’ve seen through small amounts of streaming of the qualifiers; they are bulky and slow. Be sure to take advantage of that. Enough of my nonsense, good luck!
