very nice. omni intakes look good at descoring without having to repeatedly back up. I also like the maneuver of scoring a ball in through the bottom at the same time as popping 2 in the top, saves a bit of time.

I was waiting for someone to make a reveal shot of their robot cycling balls through the bot and the goals. Nice job :+1:

I love that y’all used a drivebase as a rig for the camera

Hey guys, this looks really cool!
I just have one question: am I correct in assuming you’re using the forward momentum of the bot to make your hood pop up?
Thanks!

it looks like they are using rubber bands

Hey I was wondering how wide your drive base is?

Cheers, thanks! I just saw their robot move forward and didn’t notice the rubber bands.

yah it looks like it

Looking at it again you definitely need to go faster on the intake…

Sorry for the delayed question; if that robot has 3 balls in it before going to a goal, could it dump all 3 right after the other, or is it hard to control the dumping of 3 at once, when they are already within the intake system?

Have y’all done skills with this bot? If so, how well did it do? Just curious… @Helix

Hey man, your robot looks really good! One question though, your motors are spinning pretty fast, how are you going to score the central tower, the central tower doesn’t have a backboard and the ball looks like it’s gonna fly off and miss? Good luck!

They could always have a button that spins the indexer at a lower speed to compensate for the lack of a backboard
