A really dumb question about reveal videos.

I notice there is a deadline for submitting reveal videos and there are some people who seem worried they won’t make that deadline. Is there any major reason why a team would want to submit a reveal video other than just to show off? I mean, do you need reveal videos to be considered for judged awards or something?

I believe VEX/RECF is posting links via social media to peoples reveal videos that they receive links for. I do not believe it is related to judging at all.

Just a fun way to get your “brand” spread around by the head hanchos themselves.

Nope. Its because of this. People think it will be fun to be recognized.
