Whenever I am trying to download a program into my cortex, I get this message: ABORTED. Unable to read file system table of contents from Robot

Try downloading the cortex master and slave CPU firmware. You can do this in robotc and easy c. Not 100% on easy c, but it should have it. Robot c should have it under robot tab.

This is correct; if you are using ROBOTC, please make sure to download the latest version of ROBOTC’s firmware (and the VEX Master Firmware), which can be done by following Step 3 of the guide below.

Also, which version of ROBOTC are you currently using? You can find this information under the ‘Help → About ROBOTC’ menu option, in the bottom left corner of the window that appears. ROBOTC 4.27 is the latest version, and your ROBOTC 4.X installation can be updated to it automatically through the ‘Help → Check for Updates’ menu option.
