Advanced Motor Codes

Hey guys, looking for some ideas to advance codes specifically by incorporating the new motors with built in encoders, maybe using velocity, torque, and other sensing abilities. Anyone have any ideas let me know!

  • If your motors are drawing too much current/trying to output too much torque, assume your mechanism is somehow ceased up and stop trying to operate it (especially in autonomous)
  • PID loops, documented extensively on this forum

I am more looking for how people incorporate all the motor sensing capabilities into their competition codes

You honestly might have to wait for the answer to this question. Most people who have them are still messing with the new v5 motors.
