Here is a playlist of videos from our recent tournament in Albany MN. Our team won the tournament and the Excellence Award.

This was a fairly low key tournament, lots of relatively new teams…but I thought some people would still like to see the videos.

Our robot is the robot that has the scissor lift that goes up only one time and remains up the entire math. We did not focus on skyrise sections for this tournament. We will add skyrise capability before our next tournament.

(we literally finished this robot the night before the competition, so our driving will improve as time goes on)

I like the concept. Have you considered raising the lift with just elastics and putting those motors towards something else?

Yes we have…very good point. We actually intended this scissor lift to have a normal “conveyor” type intake on it, but we had issues with the lift handling the weight. So we quickly modified the design to have this chain style intake and only having the lift go up once in time to compete in this tournament. We will most likely be removing some or all of those lift motors as you mentioned.
