So i get the absolute basics about a vision sensor, and my team is asking me to figure out how to work the sensor. They want me to figure out a way to orient the robot to be facing just to the right or left of the flag.(for example: the sensor is aimed .5ft to the right of the flag, but we need it .25ft). I have no idea how to measure the angles or even a start to programming such a task. (By basics I mean: how to assign Signatures and how to turn on motors depending on what sig is in front of it.)
I have read threads on the vision sensor and most are a bit to complex for my understanding or it just doesn’t make sense to me.
