Has anyone else had all the ports on their IQ gen 2 brain die after a pneumatic solenoid fails?
We have had approx 4 pneumatic solenoids fail under normal usage by our competition teams where they would appear on the devices menu on the brain but would cause 2 other ports to disconnect and show the red exclamation mark.
Now the brain has multiple issues preventing us from using it:
- Any device that is plugged into the brain is not present, even after rebooting.
- On occasion devices that is plugged in do appear in the list and correctly report sensor values for about a second before switching to the red exclamation mark. Exiting the device menu with the cross button and reentering will cause the device to dissappear.
- Restarting the brain will either cause a white screen or get stuck on the VEX IQ logo.
- In other cases, attempting to enter the devices menu will cause the brain to freeze and require a power cycle, usually causeing dot point 3 to occur.
The brain has been tested with a fully charged battery and motors/sensors that have been verified to work with other brains.
Is there a fix for these issues?
