Hey everyone our team made a website and we’d like to link some of the Clean Sweep Teams to our site. So if you want a link on our website please post here with your URL and I’ll add it on our page. Hope to see everyone at the SoCal tourneys
This year, we have roughly four teams, maybe more, all of us will be a variation of 1261 (ie 1261a, 1261b). Does each team have to submit its own website? Or can we all submit a website unter team 1261 and this website represents all of us?
I would think that one website would do (at least I hope so) - we try to make our website represent everybody by dividing certain sections into team pages. Right now our wiki is a good example of that.
Well do you have a web page for each team or one for all of them? If you have one for all of them do you have a central page that has links to the individual pages?
VEX has a Wiki page that has a list of teams on it at https://vexforum.com/wiki/index.php/TeamList please add you team and info there as well. The Wiki will be around far longer than any of us and every team can keep their link and page up to date.
The VexForum Wiki has a different Login System from the Main Forum. But they are setup with the same Login Information…
Click the Log in, in the upper Right Corner of the Wiki Page. Then follow the instructions on that page. You might have posting restrictions to start with, but they will be modified in a short while…
For today, I added a place holder page, "Team99 - Team 99 - Terrier Robotics " on the Team List Page.
You might want to adopt a Page Format like, "Team 254 - The Cheesy Poofs ". Theirs seem pretty complete…
Okay so I found the place holder, and I logged in. Then when I try to acess the editing page it tells me “You do not have permission to edit pages, for the following reason:
The action you have requested is limited to users in the group Users.” So am I not a user yet because I am a “Junior Member”? Thanks for adding the place holder by the way =)
* Create discussion pages (createtalk)

You might have been able to create your Team Page with your Current Login Credentials, but I don’t know that for sure…
Can you view the Source for Team 254’s Page?? That will give you an idea of how the Page is Marked Up…
Yes I can view and copy the source code. Hmmm i don’t think it’s logging me in correctly though… When you log in does it show your screen name at the top right?
You need to be logged in using your forum account and password. Then go to the Wiki. Every section has an ‘[edit]’ on the right that allows you to edit that section. Easy as that. (I hope)
Hmm what browsers are you guys using to acess the wiki? I might have made some adjustments on mine so it won’t work on the vex wiki. Okay thanks for the visual Mark, my screen doesn’t look like that. This is my right corner…
Well I tried chrome, opera, firefox, and IE. They didn’t work =(, I checked if I had cookies disabled. So i’m going to see if its my computer, I hope it’s not thoug. Thanks for the help MarkO
