Aluminum tubes

I have a large amount of 10” long aluminum round tubes and wanted to know how they can be used. This is aluminum 1061 T6 tubing.

OD 1”
Wall 1/9”

Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Raw materials like that would be legal only for VEX-U. Details about legal materials for robots can be found in the game manual, rules R6 and R7: VRC Over Under Game Manual - VEX Robotics

Like @kmmohn said, those could be legally used for the competition robot only by a VEX-U team.

However, if I had a large/arbitrary amount of aluminum tubing laying around, I would build a scale replica of the Needle Tower and bring it along to the competitions as a showpiece/attraction for out team’s pit.
