Hi,
We hope this comes out OK, as this is our first ever post to the Vex forum!
Some of you might remember some past teams from Cheshunt School, such as the Cheshunt Stags, from the elevation season?
We are the latest team from Cheshunt, and will be coming to the USA for the World Championships in a couple of days time. (We won the UK Excellence Award)
Anyway we thought that we would publish a few details of our robot, for anyone who might be interested:

Drive:****
4x269 motors, directly driving four, 4 inch omni-wheels.
Lift:****
2x393 motors, and a 15:1 gear ratio, for higher torque.
Four bar lift, which allows us to score the high goal using match loads.
Spatula:****
2x393 motors, and a 5:1 ratio.
Has a maximum capacity of six sacks.
30" Goal Scorer:
1x393 motor, 7:1 gear ratio.
Can score up to six match loads on the high goal.
30" Goal Descorer:
1x393 motor
We can descore the opposing alliances high goal, into our trough, from our own side of the field
Probably won’t be winning a World Championship any time soon but can, (unofficially), score about 100-120 points in a robot skills run. Good at descoring the troughs too.
(Sorry for the rather bad, and slightly old picture, nobody thought to take any more before we packed our robot up. I guess it shows the basics though.)
A quick shout out to our friends at the John Warner School too, who qualified for the World’s with a superb robot and team, but unfortunately cannot attend.
Thanks, see you in Anaheim.
The excitement is building here in the UK.
