Answerd: Replacement Screws for Motor Housing

I have an inquiry about replacing the little black phillips-head screws that hold together the motor housing. Rule R7 says that you may use a non-Vex #4, #6, #8, M2, M2.5, M3, or M4 screw. Yet rule R15 does not allow any modifying to motor (including the internal PTC). Would using a non-Vex M2 screw to hold together the motor housing be legal?

Yes, this is legal, provided no other rules are violated in the process. For example it would not be legal to drill new holes in the motor casing and insert these screws. It would be legal to use these non VEX M2 screws as replacements for the supplied motor casing screws.
