i have a 2 wire motor controling a wheel on each side of robot. it will run the robot fine for about 30 sec but then it just stops and wont respond to inputs from the joy stick, its not the battery because all other motors work fine. if you let it sit for a minute then you can drive it for another 30 secs before the same thing happens. i saw a simaler post to this one and the answer was because of over heating but my motors arnt hot to the touch and are always just room temp. should i return them? please reply!
Try replacing the motor. If the same thing happens, you probably have too much load on the motor, and yes it is overheating. Using 2 motors to drive the wheel may be a solution. The motor may be permanently damaged if has been continually overheated.
