There are unanswered questions in this forum from Vamfun,
titled “Motor Currents” from 6-30-2010
Consider this a bump to that question, since unanswered questions are bad.
The Inventor’s guide links:
3-wire: http://content.vexrobotics.com/docs/inventors-guide/motor-kit-6-08.pdf
269: http://content.vexrobotics.com/docs/inventors-guide/2-wire-269-inst.pdf
393: http://content.vexrobotics.com/docs/inventors-guide/2-wire-393-inst.pdf
The 393 Inventors guide still shows 1.8A stall current,
which doesn’t agree with the Vex order page.
393: http://www.vexrobotics.com/products/accessories/motion/276-2177.html
Can you update the 393 Inventors guide online ?
The printed insert with the motor package also needs to be updated as future batches of motors are packaged.
For reference, here are the other Vex order pages
3-wire: http://www.vexrobotics.com/products/accessories/motion/276-2163.html (discontinued, instock, doesn’t list stall current)
269: http://www.vexrobotics.com/products/accessories/motion/276-2181.html

Joel,
Thanks for the bump. We will update the digital version of the 2-wire Motor 393 instructions, ASAP. We’ll also do a rolling change to this new version for all future orders.
