Is it legal to use a tri-color LED or other non-vex LED in competition? I know that there are vex LEDs, but there are only red, green, and yellow ones available and I would prefer to have multiple different colors during competition.
The only legal LEDs for use in competition are those found in the VEX LED Indicator Pack. Any other LEDs are illegal for competition use.
