Why are the scarce interrupt pins used for the autonomous mode jumpers (MPLAB and EasyC)? There are only 6 interrupt pins available. Why waste them on Autonomous mode jumpers when a regular digital i/o pin would do just as well? If someone needs additional digital i/o, they can always use an interrupt pin with the interrupts disabled, but there is not a way to convert a plain digital i/o pin into an interrupt.
We will look into changing this for next year. Thanks for the feed back.
