Answered: Beveled/Rounded Game Objects

This was asked by someone else in a different forum, but I wanted to ask as well as broaden the question.

For the Design a Game challenge, are we allowed to chamfer the edges of a game object so that they have faceted edges instead of a sharp edge or the rounded tetrahedron frame? Also, are we allowed to round the edges and corners? While I’m asking, can we do a mix of both?

Based on the drawings you included, a mild easing of the corners as shown would be acceptable. If this “easing” of the edges recognizably changes the shape of the object, your entry may be judged as “not meeting the requirements” so I would suggest thinking long and hard about doing so, and would definitely limit the extent of your edge treatment changes.
